Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: But I will maintain mine own ways before him.


Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.


In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, And strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.


I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.


The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.


Wait on the LORD: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.


For innumerable evils have compassed me about: Mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; They are more than the hairs of mine head: Therefore my heart faileth me.


O God, thou art My God; early will I seek thee: My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee In a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;


My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: My heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.


The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; Therefore will I hope in him.


For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.


knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.


He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
