He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, And his life shall see the light.


He sent his word, and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.


For thou hast delivered my soul from death, Mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.


For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; Neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.


Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: Lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.


For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, That I may walk before God in the light of the living?


Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, And shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.


For great is thy mercy toward me: And thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.


O Lord, by these things men live, And in all these things is the life of my spirit: So wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.
