because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.


And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods.


And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.


Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:


That they might observe his statutes, And keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.


The works of his hands are verity and judgment; All his commandments are sure.


Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path.


Blessed art thou, O LORD: Teach me thy statutes.


I have done judgment and justice: Leave me not to mine oppressors.


Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; And I hate every false way.


The entrance of thy words giveth light; It giveth understanding unto the simple.


I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, As much as in all riches.


Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: Yet thy commandments are my delights.


I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.


My lips shall utter praise, When thou hast taught me thy statutes.


Thy testimonies also are My delight and my counsellors.


Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: Quicken me in thy righteousness.


Thy statutes have been my songs In the house of my pilgrimage.


Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; That I be not ashamed.


Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.


The words of the LORD are pure words: As silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.


Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;


I delight to do thy will, O my God: Yea, thy law is within my heart.


Thy testimonies are very sure: Holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.


when they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.


For the LORD giveth wisdom: Out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.


Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.


For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; And reproofs of instruction are the way of life:


Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.


Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.


And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.


Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.


For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:


What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.


For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.


Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.


and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there.
