And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.


Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: For I do not forget thy law.


For thou wilt light my candle: The LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.


Consider mine enemies; for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred.


I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: For thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;


Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my meditation.


Have mercy upon me, O LORD; Consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:


In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the LORD.


And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is The LORD of hosts.


Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: Consider, and behold our reproach.
