Psalm 124:1

Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away now empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight.


In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.


I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help.


I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.


Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.


They that trust in the LORD Shall be as mount Zion, Which cannot be removed, But abideth for ever.


When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, We were like them that dream.


Except the LORD build the house, They labour in vain that build it: Except the LORD keep the city, The watchman waketh but in vain.


Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; That walketh in his ways.


Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, May Israel now say:


Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.


LORD, my heart is not haughty, Nor mine eyes lofty: Neither do I exercise myself in Great matters, or in things too high for me.


LORD, remember David, And all his afflictions:


Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!


Behold, bless ye the LORD, All ye servants of the LORD, Which by night stand in the house of the LORD.


The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?


The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
