He bowed the heavens also, and came down; And darkness was under his feet.


and refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.


If I sin, then thou markest me, And thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity.


Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,


He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: Who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?


The LORD is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.


Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: Who maketh the clouds his chariot: Who walketh upon the wings of the wind:


The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; Slow to anger, and of great mercy.


Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite.


Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: A fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.


God hath spoken once; Twice have I heard this; That power belongeth unto God.


Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.


Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.


Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:


Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
