Be not among winebibbers; Among riotous eaters of flesh:


Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.


Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.


Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.


Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.


But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.


But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;


the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,


Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.


and saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.


For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.


For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.


whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)


neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?
