Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, And shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.


I love them that love me; And those that seek me early shall find me.


for as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.


saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.


And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.


and they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.


And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;


And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him.


and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:


whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.


be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
