For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, When the number of his months is cut off in the midst?


And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.


From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, Which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: They are full of children, And leave the rest of their substance to their babes.


For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: Yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.


This their way is their folly: Yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.


God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, He shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
