Thine hands have made me and fashioned me Together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.


Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: Thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.


That thou turnest thy spirit against God, And lettest such words go out of thy mouth?


God hath delivered me to the ungodly, And turned me over into the hands of the wicked.


Know now that God hath overthrown me, And hath compassed me with his net.


Lo, their good is not in their hand: The counsel of the wicked is far from me.


Yet he filled their houses with good things: But the counsel of the wicked is far from me.


As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; And the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;


Thou art become cruel to me: With thy strong hand thou opposest thyself against me.


Did not he that made me in the womb make him? And did not one fashion us in the womb?


The Spirit of God hath made me, And the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.


Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? He that reproveth God, let him answer it.


Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?


Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, Neither will he help the evil doers:


This is one thing, therefore I said it, He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked.


The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: He covereth the faces of the judges thereof; If not, where, and who is he?


Know ye that the LORD he is God: It is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.


The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: Forsake not the works of thine own hands.


For the LORD heareth the poor, And despiseth not his prisoners.


But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.


Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
