I should have been as though I had not been; I should have been carried from the womb to the grave.


But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, And they shall not escape, And their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.


But man dieth, and wasteth away: Yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?


Because I was not cut off before the darkness, Neither hath he covered the darkness from my face.


By thee have I been holden up from the womb: Thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: My praise shall be continually of thee.


Woe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse me.


The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
