Blessed are the undefiled in the way, Who walk in the law of the LORD.


The LORD preserveth the strangers; He relieveth the fatherless and widow: But the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.


A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, Is God in his holy habitation.


thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.


And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.


Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.


And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.


And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.


(for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.


who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:


But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.


For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.


But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.


wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:


and the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.


Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:


But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.


teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;


But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.


Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.


Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.


whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.


For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.


Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.


We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
