and said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:


behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die:

The king's favour is toward a wise servant: But his wrath is against him that causeth shame.


When a man's ways please the LORD, He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.


A wise servant shall have rule over a son that causeth shame, And shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.


Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; He shall not stand before mean men.


Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: So he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.


So shalt thou find favour and good understanding In the sight of God and man.


Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.


And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab:
