and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.


and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.


and I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;


and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.


The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh come; And unto him shall the gathering of the people be.


The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; He will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body Will I set upon thy throne.


There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.


The LORD hath made known his salvation: His righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.


In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.


Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.


I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.


And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.


afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.


And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.


And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.


But thou, Beth-lehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.


Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.


In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.


Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.


and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:


Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.


Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.


But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.


But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.


and have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.


except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.


Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?


For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.


Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.


Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:


but when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,


The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;


looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
