And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.


And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.


Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: The snare is broken, and we are escaped.


But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.


Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.


And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.


When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:


And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!


and so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.


And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;


And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.


to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.


But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?


Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.


lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.


Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.


who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:


of whom is Hymenæus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.


Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.


And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
