And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:


the sons of Le´ah; Reuben, Jacob's firstborn, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Is´sachar, and Zeb´ulun:


the sons of Rachel; Joseph, and Benjamin:


There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zeb´ulun, and the princes of Naph´tali.


Blow ye the cornet in Gib´e-ah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Beth–a´ven, after thee, O Benjamin.


And Abdon the son of Hillel the Pira´thonite died, and was buried in Pira´thon in the land of E´phra-im, in the mount of the Amal´ekites.


And he gathered unto him the children of Ammon and Am´alek, and went and smote Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees.


And it came to pass, when he was come, that he blew a trumpet in the mountain of E´phra-im, and the children of Israel went down with him from the mount, and he before them.


And Barak called Zeb´ulun and Naph´tali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.


And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the Lord hath delivered Sis´era into thine hand: is not the Lord gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.


Then he made him that remaineth have dominion over the nobles among the people: the Lord made me have dominion over the mighty.
