Then king Asa made a proclamation throughout all Judah; none was exempted: and they took away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Ba´asha had builded; and king Asa built with them Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.


And Jeho´ash king of Israel took Amazi´ah king of Judah, the son of Jeho´ash the son of Ahazi´ah, at Beth–she´mesh, and came to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of E´phra-im unto the corner gate, four hundred cubits.


And their villages were, Etam, and A´in, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, five cities:


Unto the rest of the children of Mera´ri were given, out of the tribe of Zeb´ulun, Rimmon with her suburbs, Tabor with her suburbs:

But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.


In that day will I make the governors of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.


and said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:


Thus saith the Lord; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called A city of truth; and the mountain of the Lord of hosts, The holy mountain.


and Leba´oth, and Shilhim, and A´in, and Rimmon: all the cities are twenty and nine, with their villages.


And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with her suburbs, Geba with her suburbs,


And they turned and fled toward the wilderness unto the rock of Rimmon: and they gleaned of them in the highways five thousand men; and pursued hard after them unto Gidom, and slew two thousand men of them.


But six hundred men turned and fled to the wilderness unto the rock Rimmon, and abode in the rock Rimmon four months.


And the whole congregation sent some to speak to the children of Benjamin that were in the rock Rimmon, and to call peaceably unto them.
