and said, I beseech thee, O Lord God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:


and refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.


Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.


But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;


For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.


which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:


Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.


Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy loving-kindness and thy truth continually preserve me.


As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.


It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.


And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O Lord: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.


God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?


Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.


And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
