to hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;


to declare the name of the Lord in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;


For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.


For the Lord heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.


O Lord, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.


to open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.


And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
