and said, I beseech thee, O Lord God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:


Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.


Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength.


The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.


And in thy majesty ride prosperously, because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.


For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.


By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:


Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.


Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.


He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.


Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.


He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.


but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.


Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.


And I will strengthen them in the Lord; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the Lord.


that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;


Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.


There is none like unto the God of Jesh´urun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.


I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.


strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness;
