Is´sachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens:


And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the Lord.


He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.


For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.


O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.


I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.


and they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in mortar, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigor.
