Psalm 54:1

and said, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?


The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;


Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide.


According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness.


Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.


The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.


Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.


The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
