The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.


It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.


Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.


I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.


For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.


The Lord is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.


Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.


And the Lord shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.


But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the Lord of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.


For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.


Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! And thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.


who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.


And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand.
