And when Jacob saw them, he said, This is God's host: and he called the name of that place Mahana´im.


And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.


Again he said, Therefore hear the word of the Lord; I saw the Lord sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.


Thou, even thou, art Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.


who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:


By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.


The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Si´nai, in the holy place.
