He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;


who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.


He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.


The lambs are for thy clothing, and the goats are the price of the field.


And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Reph´a-im.


As for me, behold, I will dwell at Mizpah, to serve the Chalde´ans, which will come unto us: but ye, gather ye wine, and summer fruits, and oil, and put them in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken.
