The words of Nehemi´ah the son of Hachali´ah. And it came to pass in the month Chis´leu, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace,


But in all this time was not I at Jerusalem: for in the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerx´es king of Babylon came I unto the king, and after certain days obtained I leave of the king:


And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerx´es the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it unto the king. Now I had not been beforetime sad in his presence.


Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.


What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
