and out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with her suburbs, and Al´emeth with her suburbs, and An´athoth with her suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.


The children of Azma´veth, forty and two.


The children also of Benjamin from Geba dwelt at Michmash, and Ai´ja, and Beth–el, and in their villages,


And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the plain country round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netoph´athi;


And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.


And I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given them: for the Levites and the singers, that did the work, were fled every one to his field.


The men of Beth–azma´veth, forty and two.


The men of Ramah and Gaba, six hundred twenty and one.


Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?


And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, unto the camp to Gilgal.


And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon with her suburbs, Geba with her suburbs,


And the Lord said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.
