And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beer–sheba, all the days of Solomon.


And, behold, I purpose to build a house unto the name of the Lord my God, as the Lord spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build a house unto my name.


Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.


The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.


Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.


but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.


The cities of Aro´er are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

and thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,


after that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.


And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.


Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.


The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.


In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.
