The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honorable.


And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.


Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.


And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.


Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?


saying, This fellow persuadeth men to worship God contrary to the law.


crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.


and set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:


For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.


Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.


that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
