But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.


Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.


Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high-minded, but fear:


Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.


Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling:


And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
