And the servant told Isaac all things that he had done.


Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zeb´edee, and John his brother;


And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,


And when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.


And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.


And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.


And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.


It was Mary Mag´dalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.


And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;


And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsai´da.


And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthi´as; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
