and they burn unto the Lord every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense: the showbread also set they in order upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof, to burn every evening: for we keep the charge of the Lord our God; but ye have forsaken him.


Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.


The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.


the pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light;


And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.


For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:


and the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;


To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.


And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,


Without the veil of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the Lord continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.


the people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.


Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.


to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.


Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;


In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
