and prayed unto him: and he was entreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manas´seh knew that the Lord he was God.


His prayer also, and how God was entreated of him, and all his sins, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers.


so that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.


I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.


This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.


Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.


My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.


Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.


He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.


Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;


but verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.


Go, and say to Hezeki´ah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.


Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.


Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
