and said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?


And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.


And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:


And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.


And they asked him, What then? Art thou Eli´jah? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that Prophet? And he answered, No.


She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.


This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.


The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.


The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.


and said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.


And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.


Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.


They said therefore unto him, What sign showest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?


Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.


This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A Prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.
