And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.


But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him.


But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.


Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye inquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?


Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, a hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.


So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jona, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.


And upon this came his disciples, and marveled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?


not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
