Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.


And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for a harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.


and I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabe´ans, to a people far off: for the Lord hath spoken it.


when I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with E´phra-im, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.


Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand.


And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
