And Hezeki´ah hearkened unto them, and showed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezeki´ah showed them not.


And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezeki´ah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them.


And the carcass of Jez´ebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This is Jez´ebel.


He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.


none of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:


which perished at En–dor: they became as dung for the earth.

They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcasses shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.


And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.


Therefore thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will lay stumbling-blocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbor and his friend shall perish.


And the carcasses of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.


and they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.


Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.


And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.


and thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.
