And when David was a little past the top of the hill, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephib´osheth met him, with a couple of asses saddled, and upon them two hundred loaves of bread, and a hundred bunches of raisins, and a hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of wine.


Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.


Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.


The hay appeareth, and the tender grass showeth itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered.


Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Ele-a´leh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.

Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grape gleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the first ripe fruit.


Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.


But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.


Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:
