Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.


Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.


But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet.


One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on a hill.


For I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good, saith the Lord: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.


and the Chalde´ans, that fight against this city, shall come and set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Ba´al, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger.


And it came to pass, that when the army of the Chalde´ans was broken up from Jerusalem for fear of Pharaoh's army,


And the Chalde´ans shall come again, and fight against this city, and take it, and burn it with fire.


Therefore hear the counsel of the Lord, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out; surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.

Thus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chalde´ans, and they that are thrust through in her streets.

and the Lord shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
