Manas´seh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem:


Josi´ah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem one and thirty years.


Zedeki´ah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned eleven years in Jerusalem.


Jeho´ahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.


Jehoi´akim was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord his God.


Jehoi´achin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord.


Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning!


As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.


Moreover the Lord saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:


the captain of fifty, and the honorable man, and the counselor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.


For through the anger of the Lord it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedeki´ah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
