The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.


Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.


then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.


Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.


Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.


And the Lord shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the Lord, and he shall be entreated of them, and shall heal them.


And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance for ever.


for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
