He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.


He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh a hedge, a serpent shall bite him.


The envy also of E´phra-im shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: E´phra-im shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex E´phra-im.


I have raised up one from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as upon mortar, and as the potter treadeth clay.
