And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stripped Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colors that was on him;


And they took Joseph's coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood;


and they sent the coat of many colors, and they brought it to their father; and said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy son's coat or no.


And she had a garment of divers colors upon her: for with such robes were the king's daughters that were virgins appareled. Then his servant brought her out, and bolted the door after her.


And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colors, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so.


The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.


Have they not sped? have they not divided the prey; to every man a damsel or two; to Sis´era a prey of divers colors, a prey of divers colors of needlework, of divers colors of needlework on both sides, meet for the necks of them that take the spoil?
