And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau's hands: so he blessed him.


And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son's venison, that my soul may bless thee. And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine, and he drank.


And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, I am indeed a widow woman, and mine husband is dead.


He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the Lord, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.


For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty.


The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.


Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.


remove far from me vanity and lies; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:


These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbor; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:


Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.


Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;


And he changed his behavior before them, and feigned himself mad in their hands, and scrabbled on the doors of the gate, and let his spittle fall down upon his beard.


And David said unto Ahim´elech the priest, The king hath commanded me a business, and hath said unto me, Let no man know any thing of the business whereabout I send thee, and what I have commanded thee: and I have appointed my servants to such and such a place.
