Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.


He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.


Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? Do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?


For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.


He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.


He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.


Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbor, and not suffer sin upon him.


And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath showed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.


And certain men which came down from Judea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.


Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law; to whom we gave no such commandment:


But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.


I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.


Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.


I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:


But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:


to whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.


but contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;


and when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.


As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.


for the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;


Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.


and make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.


which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
