So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.


And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Si´nai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.


Then came Am´alek, and fought with Israel in Reph´idim.


For they were departed from Reph´idim, and were come to the desert of Si´nai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.


And there was no water for the congregation: and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.


And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.


At the commandment of the Lord they rested in their tents, and at the commandment of the Lord they journeyed: they kept the charge of the Lord, at the commandment of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
