That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked; and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?


For we must needs die, and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God respect any person; yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him.


And he set judges in the land throughout all the fenced cities of Judah, city by city,


and said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the Lord, who is with you in the judgment.


did I fear a great multitude, or did the contempt of families terrify me, that I kept silence, and went not out of the door?


How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.


Thou wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone.


and let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.


And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.


It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.


These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.


To have respect of persons is not good: for, for a piece of bread that man will transgress.


The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.


Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.


Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment; thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbor.


Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.


And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Hero´di-ans, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.


And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man; for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?


And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:


for there is no respect of persons with God.


And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.


For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:


Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.


Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow's raiment to pledge:


If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.


But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.


but as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.


but if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.


And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:


But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.


If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the Lord, who shall entreat for him? Notwithstanding, they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the Lord would slay them.
