which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:


Therefore thus saith the Lord of the men of An´athoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the Lord, that thou die not by our hand:


and I set before the sons of the house of the Rech´abites pots full of wine, and cups; and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.


but prophesy not again any more at Beth–el: for it is the king's chapel, and it is the king's court.


Now therefore hear thou the word of the Lord: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.


Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame.


Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the Lord;


he shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.
