And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavored to go into Macedo´nia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.


and teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.


And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedo´nia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedo´nia, and help us.


And when Silas and Timothy were come from Macedo´nia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.


After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedo´nia and Achai´a, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.


And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gai´us and Aristar´chus, men of Macedo´nia, Paul's companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theater.


And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto him the disciples, and embraced them, and departed for to go into Macedo´nia.


and there abode three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed to return through Macedo´nia.


And we sailed away from Phil´ippi after the days of unleavened bread, and came unto them to Tro´as in five days; where we abode seven days.


And entering into a ship of Adramyt´ti-um, we launched, meaning to sail by the coasts of Asia; one Aristar´chus, a Macedo´nian of Thessaloni´ca, being with us.


For it hath pleased them of Macedo´nia and Achai´a to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.


Paul and Timothy, the servants of Jesus Christ, To all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Phil´ippi, with the bishops and deacons:


for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;


but even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Phil´ippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
