and that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;


to make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.


And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen hands, they found fault.


And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.


But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.


I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
